Does this adapter get hot during charging, and how long does it last?
A small amount of warmth during high-current charging is normal. Each LANVOLT adapter includes a built-in thermal sensor that signals the Mobile Connector to reduce or stop current if the connection overheats — the same protection circuit a factory adapter uses. If a unit ever runs unusually hot, feels loose in the outlet, or stops charging reliably within the warranty period, contact product support for a replacement rather than continuing to use it.
