How to identify an EV charging outlet before ordering
A practical pre-purchase checklist for outlet shape, plug standard, circuit marking and connector generation.
Start with the outlet
Read the marking on the receptacle, then compare the pin shape with the product images. Outlet standards that look similar can have different geometry, voltage or current ratings.
Confirm the connector generation
Check the physical connector and the product description. LANVOLT products are independent replacement accessories for the stated compatible Gen 2 Mobile Connector systems only.
Check the installation
Before use, verify the circuit, product marking and applicable local requirements. Ask a qualified electrician when the installation or continuous-use setting is uncertain.
