How EV Shops in Europe and the Gulf Choose a Tesla Adapter Supplier

What EV accessory shops in the UK, Europe and the Gulf should ask a Gen 2 adapter supplier before ordering a first small batch.

Questions to ask a Gen 2 adapter supplier
QuestionA good answer
Minimum order?Small batches, mixed models allowed (LANVOLT: from 5 units)
Certificates?Copy per model from a named test body, matched to the SKU
Invoice?Commercial invoice in your company name with HS code
Dispatch time?Stated before payment (LANVOLT: 3–4 working days)
Returns and warranty?Written policy (LANVOLT: 14-day returns, 6-month warranty)
Which models for my country?A country-by-socket answer, not one model for everyone

Order by plug type, not by catalog

A shop in Germany sells Schuko; a shop in the UK, the UAE or Qatar sells the UK 3-pin; a campsite supplier sells CEE blue. Order 10–30 units of the plug your customers actually use, see how fast it sells, then add the next model.

Paperwork first

Ask for the certificate copy for each model and photos of the product label and packaging before you pay, so you can check the markings your market requires. Make sure the supplier invoices your company with the HS code for customs.

Import rules in your market

Since 1 July 2026 the EU charges a flat €3 customs duty per tariff line on parcels worth €150 or less; trade orders above that clear normally with import VAT, which VAT-registered businesses can usually reclaim. In the Gulf, Saudi Arabia requires a certificate of conformity for imported electrical products and the UAE regulates low-voltage electrical products under MoIAT's ECAS/EQM scheme. Ask your clearing agent what applies to plug adapters before ordering.

Price and payment

Agree price, packing and shipping before paying. LANVOLT quotes small batches on WhatsApp and sends a payment link; single units can be ordered in the shop.

Frequently asked questions

What is LANVOLT's minimum order for shops?

Small-batch pricing starts at 5 units in total, and models can be mixed. Single units can be bought in the shop.

Which certificates does LANVOLT have?

Supplier-held TÜV SÜD (Schuko 16A), TÜV Rheinland (UK BS 1363) and ESTI (Swiss Type J 16A) certificates. Copies are sent on request, matched to the SKU.

Do you have SABER or ECAS certificates for the Gulf?

No. Our document list does not include them. We send the documents we have so your clearing agent can check what your country requires.

How do I get a quote?

Send your business type, country, models and quantities on WhatsApp (+86 138 5983 1875) or email lanvolt@wurenev.com.
